WORLD SANSKRIT DAY 2024
To commemorate the Sanskrit Day, Sanskrit Shloka recitation competition was conducted for students of Grades 1 – 5., where three children emerged as the best performers: Dhawal Krishna, Atharv Porwal, and Saanvi Patel.
The Sanskrit shloka recitation competition was organized with the aim of promoting the ancient language and culture among young children. The competition was divided into two phases – the preliminary round and the final round. In the preliminary round, participants showcased their recitation skills and understanding of the shlokas selected for the competition. The judges evaluated the participants based on their pronunciation, expression, and overall presentation. After a tough competition in the preliminary round, three children stood out as the best performers and advanced to the final round. Dhawal Krishna, Atharv Porwal, and Saanvi Patel impressed the judges and the audience with their flawless recitation and deep understanding of the themes of the shlokas they recited. In the final round, the three finalists delivered captivating performances, mesmerizing the audience with their recitation skills and heartfelt expressions. Dhawal Krishna’s confident delivery, Atharv Porwal’s impressive recitation, and Saanvi Patel’s emotive rendition left a lasting impression on everyone present. In the end, after much deliberation, Dhawal Krishna was declared the winner of the Sanskrit shloka recitation competition, with Atharv Porwal and Saanvi Patel securing the second and third positions, respectively. The competition not only showcased the talent and dedication of the young participants but also highlighted the importance of preserving and promoting the beauty of Sanskrit language and literature among the younger generation.
