Independence Day 2024 Celebration at Ramakrishna Sarada Mission Nivedita Vidyamandir, New Delhi
Introduction: Ramakrishna Sarada Mission Nivedita Vidyamandir in New Delhi celebrated India’s 78th Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor. The school organized a series of events and activities to commemorate this significant day in the history of India.
Flag Hoisting Ceremony: The day began with a solemn flag hoisting ceremony in the school premises. The national flag was unfurled by the Secretary Mataji, Pravrajika Prabhaprana and school principal, Pravrajika Jnanaprana, followed by the singing of the national anthem by the students and staff members. The atmosphere was filled with pride and patriotism as everyone saluted the flag.
Cultural Program: After the flag hoisting ceremony, the Principal of the school, Pravrajika Jnanaprana addressed the gathering. This was followed by a vibrant cultural program by the students. The program included patriotic songs, dance performances, skits, and speeches highlighting the importance of independence and the values of unity, diversity, and freedom. The students showcased their talents and creativity, leaving the audience spellbound.
Community Service Activities: As part of the Independence Day celebrations, the school also organized community service activities such as cleanliness drives, tree plantation, and visits to orphanages.
