55th Annual Day Celebration at Ramakrishna Sarada Mission Nivedita Vidyamandir, New Delhi – November 2024
The 55th Annual Day of Ramakrishna Sarada Mission Nivedita Vidyamandir was celebrated with great enthusiasm and grandeur on 17th November 2024. The Chief Guest for the occasion was Mrs. Nirupama Kotru, Joint Secretary and Financial Advisor, Ministries of Coal & Mines and Minority Affairs, Government of India.
The event commenced with a warm welcome extended to the Chief Guest by the school band, accompanied by Pravrajika Prabhaprana, Secretary of the Mission, Pravrajika Jnanaprana, Principal of the school, Mrs. Kalyani Ghosh, President of the Managing Committee, and other esteemed members of the Managing Committee. Teachers, parents, and students also participated in the welcoming ceremony.
The inaugural segment included the traditional lighting of the lamp, followed by the felicitation of the Chief Guest. The students of Nivedita Vidyamandir chanted the Vedic Peace Hymns, creating a serene and auspicious atmosphere. This was followed by an invocation of the blessings of Goddess Sarasvati, complemented by a mesmerizing classical dance performance by Kaushiki Dass, a talented student of the school.
The Principal, Pravrajika Jnanaprana, delivered the Welcome Address, expressing gratitude to the attendees and emphasizing the significance of the day. This was followed by a detailed report presented by the Secretary, Pravrajika Prabhaprana, highlighting the school’s achievements and progress over the past year.
The Chief Guest, Mrs. Nirupama Kotru, delivered an inspiring motivational speech, encouraging the students to excel in academics and co-curricular activities while upholding the values imparted by the institution.
The highlight of the day was a vibrant cultural program presented by the students of Nivedita Vidyamandir. The performances, reflecting the rich cultural heritage and the ethos of the school, captivated the audience and received resounding applause.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks and the National Anthem, leaving everyone inspired and filled with joy.
