Introduction Teachers’ Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and reverence at our school on September 5, 2024. The event was dedicated to acknowledging the vital role of teachers in shaping the lives of students. The program was elegantly organized and showcased heartfelt tributes from students and gratitude from faculty.
Event Highlights
Lamp Lighting Ceremony : The celebration began with a traditional lamp lighting ceremony performed by our esteemed Principal Mataji, Pravrajika Jnanaprana, alongside Secretary Mataji, Pravrajika Prabhaprana Mataji. This auspicious act symbolized the dispelling of darkness through knowledge and the illumination of minds.
Principal’s Address Following the lamp lighting, the Principal delivered a short yet inspiring address. She expressed deep gratitude to the teaching staff for their tireless dedication and commitment to education. Her emphasis on the importance of teachers as the guiding lights in students’ lives resonated with everyone present, inspiring both students and staff alike.
Cultural Performances: Classical Odissi Dance A standout performance was delivered by Joyta Dass, a student from NVM, who presented a classical Odissi dance. The performance served as a heartfelt tribute to teachers, beautifully honoring the essence of “Guru Brahma, Guru Vishnu,” showcasing the teacher’s role in imparting knowledge.
Action Song-Dance by Kindergarten Kids The celebration featured a delightful action song and dance performed by the adorable kindergarten kids. Their enthusiasm and energy brought smiles to everyone and represented the joy of learning.
Poetry Recitation Tanishqa Yadav recited a beautiful poem in English, followed by Ananya’s recitation in Hindi. Both performances were met with applause, and they skillfully conveyed heartfelt messages of appreciation for teachers.
Titles for Teachers In a creative segment, students presented lovely titles to their teachers, exemplifying their admiration and affection. The titles were unique and personalized, reflecting the special bond between students and their educators.
Honoring the Principal and Secretary Mataji In a moving gesture, the teachers honored Principal Mataji and Secretary Mataji with thoughtful gifts and cards, expressing their gratitude for the support and leadership provided to the school.
Felicitation of Teachers the Secretary Mataji took the stage to felicitate the teachers, presenting each one with gifts as a token of appreciation for their hard work and dedication. This moment served as a reminder of the impact teachers have on students’ lives.
Dance Performances The celebration also included a vibrant dance performance by the teachers, showcasing their talent and camaraderie. This performance was followed by another delightful dance number by the students, reinforcing the theme of unity and appreciation.
National Anthem To conclude the celebration, the National Anthem was sung, instilling a sense of pride and solidarity among all present.
Vote of Thanks The event concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks, expressing gratitude to everyone who contributed to making the celebration a success.
