    • Promotion to the next class depends on the accumulated marks obtained throughout the year, combined with the marks of the final examination.
    • The general criterion for promotion is that the student has grasped the subject matter of the class sufficiently well to follow the subjects in the higher class easily.
    • A Monthly Report Card with the student’s answer sheets will be sent to the parents after the test is over.
    • 80% of the total marks will be reserved for Half-yearly and Annual Examinations.
    • Merit Cards will be given to the students standing first in any subject in the monthly tests. A prize is given to the holder of the maximum number of Merit Cards at the time of the Annual Function.
    • All Tests and Exams are compulsory. Students absent from an Examination for any reason are not re-examined, and those absent without any valid reason or without previous intimation in writing to the Principal, will be considered as having failed. In case a child is absent due to illness, a doctor’s certificate should be produced.
    • Absence from one or more subjects involves the loss of marks for these subjects and excludes the students from being reckoned in order of merit or rank in the examination and from a prize.
    • Results declared at the end of the year are final in all cases and will not be re-considered, nor can the answer papers be shown.
