173rd Birth Anniversary Celebration of Holy Mother Sri Sarada Devi
The 173rd birth anniversary of Holy Mother Sri Sarada Devi was celebrated with great reverence and enthusiasm at Ramakrishna Sarada Mission Nivedita Vidyamandir, New Delhi. The program aimed to inspire students and attendees by highlighting the values and lessons from the life of Holy Mother, an epitome of purity, wisdom, and compassion.
The celebration commenced with the Pranam Mantra, invoking the divine presence and seeking blessings. The atmosphere was filled with spirituality and devotion as students and staff joined together to honour Holy Mother.
The principal of the institution, Pravrajika Jnanaprana, delivered a short yet impactful address, emphasizing the timeless lessons from Holy Mother’s life. She beautifully elaborated on Holy Mother’s teachings of selfless love, patience, and universal acceptance. Pravrajika Jnanaprana encouraged everyone to imbibe these values in their daily lives to create a harmonious society. A mesmerizing classical dance performance by Joyta accompanied by a soulful bhajan rendered by Ms. Arpita Roy, whose melodious voice added to the devotional fervour of the event.
Students of the school further enriched the program by reciting quotations based on the teachings of Holy Mother Sri Sarada Devi. Their eloquence and sincerity in delivering the messages left a profound impact reminding everyone of the Mother’s profound wisdom and compassion.
The program concluded with distribution of refreshments to all. The event was a beautiful confluence of devotion, culture, and values, leaving everyone inspired to walk on the path shown by Holy Mother Sri Sarada Devi.
