  • School Discipline Rules

    Discipline is a way of life in NVM. It is a vital factor in shaping one’s personality. It is inculcated in the students not as an imposition but as a normal growth under the process of training in self- discipline and self-help through every activity.

    • Punctuality is essential. The children must reach school at least five minutes before the assembly bell which rings at 7.55 a.m. After which the School Gates will be closed.
    • Perfect silence should be maintained during the prayer.
    • Attendance, adding up to 75% of the total number of working days is compulsory for all students in order to appear in the annual examinations.
    • Rude and argumentative behaviour with teachers and support staff by students or parents will be strictly dealt with.
    • Coming out of classes during the change-over of periods is strictly discouraged.
    • Attendance on all school function days is absolutely necessary.
    • Any kind of damage done within the school premises by any student must be compensated by their parents.
    • Blazer, Cardigans, books, Belt, Hair Band, tiffin boxes water bottles etc. should bear the name of the student. The school is not responsible for stationary, books etc. that get lost.
    • All the applications for the certificates must be made in writing. These will only be issued 48 hours after receipt of the application.
    • No student is exempted from games, yoga and physical training without a valid medical certificate.
    • Any student, who comes to school with a dirty uniform, will be charged a fine of Rs.50/- each time.
    • Mobile phones are not allowed in the school premises. If any student is found carrying a Mobile phone, it will be confiscated and not returned.

    NOTE

    Anybody going against these rules will be issued, warning cards by the Principal, after one oral reminder.
