Welcome to Nivedita Vidyamandir
We at NVM believe that education has no meaning without a sound character. The concept of integrity is central to our core value system. Since the School’s founding in 1970, the importance of ethics and integrity has served as a foundation of the NVM community. Integrity is the most important quality of a person’s character. The successful day-to-day life of the school community depends on the trust and mutual respect fostered by ethical conduct. This ethical code forbids lying, cheating, or stealing and guides members of the school community in their daily actions.
NVM recognizes students’ positive behavior. This training in ethics prepares students for upholding principles of integrity in their later years and makes them good human beings. In all they do, students learn to display strong character, behave ethically, make solid decisions, and lead others—on the playground, in class, during athletics, at home, and in the community. They learn also the value of public service and contributing to society. They learn how to win with grace and lose with honor. They learn how to resolve conflict. They learn how to be a real friend. Wherever they are, whatever they are doing they learn to be a good human first.
MIND
NVM’s rigorous academic program is founded on a core curriculum designed to emphasize the value of a strong work ethic, critical thinking skills, effective oral and written communication, active engagement in the arts, and lifelong enjoyment of intellectual pursuits.
BODY
Our required athletic program is based on the belief that through the cultivation of physical vigor and wellness, students learn the value and meaning of teamwork, resilience, competitive spirit, humility, tolerance, and sportsmanship.
SPIRIT
The School also nourishes and affirms the fundamental importance of spirituality, not merely in an abstract, academic sense, but also in observance and practice, for the formation of an integrated personality.

Core Philosophy of Nivedita Vidyamandir
Nivedita Vidyamandir, an English-medium, co-educational Pre-primary, and Primary school, was the very first project of this Centre. It is the only school in the whole of North India based on the ideals of Sri Ramakrishna, Sri Sarada Devi, and Swami Vivekananda. The core philosophy of Ramakrishna Sarada Mission NIVEDITA VIDYAMANDIR is to instill a value system in each student so as to help him/her withstand all the tests of time. We believe that true education is the training of the head, heart, and hands. Academic excellence is desirable but inculcating good values is the essence of education. Therefore, we take upon the task of nurturing students who are socially responsible and global citizens. We aim to impart holistic education to ensure that our children grow up as individuals who are ethically upright, emotionally balanced, culturally integrated, socially aware, and spiritually oriented.
