RAM NAVAMI CELEBRATION 2025 at
Ramakrishna Sarada Mission Nivedita Vidyamandir, Hauz Khas, New Delhi
The sacred occasion of Ram Navami was celebrated with great devotion and enthusiasm at Ramakrishna Sarada Mission Nivedita Vidyamandir to honour the birth of Maryada Purushottam Bhagwan Shri Ram. The day’s celebration beautifully blended devotion, culture, and the talents of our students, creating a spiritually uplifting atmosphere in the school premises.
The programme commenced with a short and inspiring address by the Principal Pravrajika Jnanaprana who spoke about the ideals of Shri Ram—truthfulness, courage, humility, and righteousness—and encouraged the children to imbibe these values in their daily lives.
This was followed by a soul-stirring performance of ‘Shri Ram Stuti’, accompanied by a graceful semi-classical dance by Kaushiki, setting the devotional tone for the morning.
The Primary students brought joy and festive cheer with a lively ‘Badhai’ song and dance, celebrating the divine birth of Shri Ram with childlike delight and vibrant expressions.
A heartwarming poem in English was recited by Tanishqa, conveying the timeless relevance of Lord Ram’s life in simple, touching words.
Another mesmerizing moment came with a semi-classical dance performance by Aditi to the devotional song ‘Mere Ghar Ram Ayenge’, which beautifully captured the anticipation and joy of welcoming Lord Ram into one’s heart and home.
Adding poetic flavour, a Hindi poem was recited by Atharv Porwal, glorifying the virtues of Shri Ram and awakening a sense of devotion among the listeners.
The highlight of the celebration was a spellbinding dance performance by Joyta on the popular bhajan sung by Ms. Jayshree Murarka ‘Mere Ghar Ram Aaye Hain’. Her expressive moves and the emotional intensity of the song left the audience deeply moved and spiritually charged.
The celebration concluded with the distribution of ‘prasad’—laddu and namkeened, spreading the joy and blessings of the occasion to all present.
The Ram Navami celebration not only brought alive the divine presence of Lord Ram but also served as a beautiful reminder of the values and virtues that our students are encouraged to live by.
