BAISAKHI CELEBRATION at
Ramakrishna Sarada Mission Nivedita Vidyamandir, Hauz Khas
The joyous festival of Baisakhi was celebrated with great enthusiasm and cultural vibrance at Ramakrishna Sarada Mission Nivedita Vidyamandir, Hauz Khas. The entire school participated in the festivities with cheerful hearts, bright smiles, and a spirit of unity.
The program began with a warm and thoughtful address by our respected Principal, Pravrajika Jnanaprana, who spoke about the spiritual and cultural significance of Baisakhi as both a harvest festival and the birth of the Khalsa Panth, emphasizing values of gratitude, unity, and hard work.
The cultural program opened with a graceful solo dance by Joyta, who captivated the audience with her elegance and poise. This was followed by a heartfelt English poem on Baisakhi by little Tanishqa, expressing the joy of harvest, togetherness, and celebration through simple yet touching words.
Adding color and charm to the occasion, the Pre-primary children presented a vibrant group dance, dressed in traditional attire, delighting everyone with their cheerful moves and innocent energy.
The mood further lifted with a solo Bhangra performance by Ujjwal, whose energetic steps and radiant expression had the audience tapping their feet and cheering joyfully.
The highlight of the celebration was when the entire school came together for a group dance on traditional dhol beats, creating a wave of collective joy, rhythm, and celebration that echoed the true spirit of Baisakhi.
The program concluded with the distribution of prasad to all students and staff, marking a sweet and blessed end to the festivities.
The Baisakhi celebration not only brought joy and festivity to the campus but also instilled in the children a deeper appreciation of our rich cultural traditions and values.
