Report on Parent Orientation Day – 28.03.2025
The Parent Orientation Day for Kindergarten at Ramakrishna Sarada Mission Nivedita Vidyamandir was held on 28th March 2025 with great enthusiasm, aiming to familiarize parents with the school’s ethos, academic structure, and activities.
The event commenced with the auspicious lighting of the lamp, symbolizing the dispelling of ignorance and the pursuit of knowledge. This was followed by a soulful rendition of Saraswati Vandana, accompanied by a graceful classical Odissi dance, invoking the blessings of Goddess Saraswati for wisdom and learning.
The Principal, Pravrajika Jnanaprana Mataji, welcomed the gathering with an insightful speech, emphasizing the school’s mission of holistic education rooted in values, discipline, and joyful learning.
Following this, the Academic Coordinator, Mrs. Roli Bhattacharya, gave a detailed presentation, outlining the kindergarten curriculum, teaching methodologies, and the importance of parental involvement in early childhood education.
A video screening of the Virtual Tour of the school provided parents with a glimpse of the campus, classrooms, and facilities. Additionally, key highlights of school celebrations and activities were showcased, giving an overview of the vibrant and engaging learning environment at NVM.
The NVM Team was then introduced, allowing parents to meet and interact with the dedicated faculty and staff who will be guiding their children on their educational journey.
The orientation concluded with the National Anthem, instilling a sense of unity and respect among all present. The session was well-received, fostering a strong connection between the school and the parents, laying the foundation for a fruitful and collaborative academic year ahead.
