The joyous occasion of Eid was celebrated with great enthusiasm and cultural harmony at Ramakrishna Sarada Mission Nivedita Vidyamandir, Hauz Khas, New Delhi. The program beautifully reflected the spirit of unity, peace, and festivity associated with Eid.
The celebration commenced with a short yet inspiring address by the Principal, Pravrajika Jnanaprana, who spoke about the significance of Eid, emphasizing the values of kindness, sharing, and gratitude. She encouraged the students to embrace the spirit of togetherness and spread joy among all.
Following the address, the cultural performances began with a delightful and heartwarming dance by Aditi, who conveyed Eid wishes to everyone through her graceful movements. Her charming performance set a cheerful tone for the event.
Next, a beautiful poem in English was recited by Liyana Kumar of Grade 1, capturing the essence of Eid and its message of love and brotherhood. The poem resonated with the audience, reminding everyone of the festival’s deeper meaning.
Adding to the festive spirit, a captivating group dance was performed on an Afghan song. The dancers, dressed in vibrant traditional attire, showcased the rhythmic and lively beats of Afghan culture, receiving enthusiastic applause from the audience.
Sumi Patra then took the stage for a Hindi poem recitation centered around the theme of Eid. Her expressive and emotive delivery beautifully depicted the joy, devotion, and cultural significance of the festival.
The event continued with a mesmerizing solo dance performance by Joyta, who enthralled the audience with her graceful expressions and movements. Her dance, accompanied by an Afghan song, added an international flavor to the celebration, highlighting the festival’s global relevance.
