Indian Army Day Celebration 2025 at Ramakrishna Sarada Mission Nivedita Vidyamandir, Hauz Khas, New Delhi
The Indian Army Day celebration at our school on 15th January 2025 was a heartfelt tribute to the valor, discipline, and sacrifices of our nation’s brave soldiers. The program commenced with a warm welcome by the anchor, highlighting the historical significance of this day, marking Field Marshal K. M. Cariappa’s appointment as the first Indian Commander-in-Chief of the Indian Army in 1949.
Principal Mataji inaugurated the event with an inspiring speech, emphasizing the dedication of the Indian Army in safeguarding our nation’s sovereignty. Her words instilled a sense of patriotism and gratitude among all present.
The event featured a series of captivating performances:
- Soulful Dance – Joyta Dass delivered a mesmerizing dance performance to the iconic song “Ae Mere Vatan Ke Logo”, paying homage to the sacrifices of our soldiers.
- Hindi Poem Recitation – Atharv Porwal of Grade 2 recited a poignant poem dedicated to the Indian Army, leaving the audience deeply moved.
- Short Skit – Primary students presented an engaging skit showcasing the valor and discipline of Indian soldiers, inspiring the audience to uphold the values of courage and selflessness.
The celebration concluded with the entire audience standing in unison for the National Anthem, a fitting tribute to the spirit of patriotism and unity.
The event successfully kindled patriotic fervor and deepened our respect for the guardians of our nation.
